You have a video ready, but turning several minutes of content into one small picture is a different task. AI can suggest visual directions, make candidates and change a layout. You still need to check that the picture promises something the video actually delivers.

In three self-contained Lessons, you will turn supplied video notes into a usable creative brief, compare genuinely generated thumbnail candidates with their title, and adapt an editable design for a new episode. Start with the brief if you are unsure what to ask for; use the other Lessons when you need to choose a picture or update an existing layout. Each supplies its own starting material.

The practice videos and illustrations are prepared examples. You will inspect recorded outputs and make guided decisions, then save briefs, image files and replaceable request templates. The design work includes a small-size check and editable text, so the result can be reviewed and changed after the first image looks finished.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a YouTube channel or an image tool?

Neither is required for the guided Lessons. For your own work, use an AI tool that can create images or files for the task you choose. To reuse an SVG layout, the tool or editor must preserve editable text; a PNG alone cannot do that.

Can I start with my own video?

Yes. Prepare its title, a short factual summary and the claims it does not support. Add an actual still only if you have one you can use, and state whether AI should preserve that image or create an illustration. The worksheets show what to replace.

Will this show which thumbnail gets more clicks?

No. You will judge factual fit and visible readability, not measured audience performance. No video is uploaded in the Course. Before real use, check your final export and the current YouTube requirements.
