Turn a job posting into a source-checked list of criteria, instructions, and unknowns.
StartA job application can sound polished and still be wrong. A résumé may repeat the vacancy's language without showing real evidence, while a cover letter can quietly turn a nearby skill into experience you do not have. AI makes comparison and drafting faster, but you remain responsible for every claim sent in your name.
In this continuous practice case, you will work from one specific role and a Course-prepared applicant record. The materials contain no real personal or company data, so you can focus on a method that later transfers to your own application.
You will ask AI to separate the job's requirements from its instructions, trace each useful claim back to the applicant record, and preserve honest gaps instead of hiding them. You will then tailor a résumé and cover letter, inspect risky wording, and correct the places where an AI draft goes beyond its sources.
Once the content is trustworthy, you will use AI to turn the résumé into a self-contained HTML document and export the résumé and letter as real PDFs. You will check the final pages themselves—their text, hierarchy, spacing, page count, and contact details—because valid code and a successful export do not prove that a document is ready to use.
The Course ends with an application packet ready for the applicant's review, not a submitted application or a promise of an interview. You still decide whether the role fits, whether the voice sounds like you, and whether the final files should leave your device.
