- Learner and target
- Mandarin-speaking adult learning English, CEFR A2, needs hotel and workplace conversations. Knows present simple, common time words, and basic past; has just learned present perfect form but not mastered it. Explanations in concise Chinese. Avoid family and health topics. Mobile-friendly short items. No phonetic symbols.
- Practice contract
- 12-minute session, 8 items. Prioritize since/for plus present-perfect form for continuing situations. First two items recognition, two controlled completion, two correction, one personal but non-sensitive completion, one new hotel/work transfer. One hint before model. Answers hidden in a separate section. Immediate correction and retry; recycle a missed pattern two items later. Mastery: 4 consecutive independent correct choices including both since and for plus one full present-perfect sentence. Review after 1, 3, and 7 days with new surface contexts.
